Family Tree as of January 2015

For the first post of 2015, I  wanted to give an overview of the information we have.  Here is the screenshot of the fan chart for Alexandra Klaich (my grandmother).

As of now, we have information on her paternal grandparents and her maternal great-grandparents. We hope to push this back a generation or two with some research this summer in Croatia.

    So were Grandma's parents cousins? Maybe I already knew this, but I had forgotten, if so.

      As far as we know Kljaic is like Butler. Many unrelated or very far back related

    We talked with one of Grandma's cousins (Mira Klaich) who says that Grandma's parents are not cousins. Still we hope to directly track down the names of the next generation to help answer that.

    And it is not only her parents. You see that Illich is a name that is in there more than once. (I guess that is a common enough last name that the textbook we are using to study BCS uses it as an example).
