Komić itself is right next to Kurjak. Here’s the google map, also note that Mogorić
(home of Sophie Illić) is near as well.
In addition to the main towns shown on the map, there are
even smaller towns that are named after the people who lived there a long time
ago. Along the main road, the following
four road signs (and the towns they represent) are all within a short 2 mile
section.
The little area (of just a few houses) in between Kurjak and
Komić is Opalić, the same as Stana’s family name. Obviously I don’t know when the town was
formed, but perhaps it was named after a relative!
